Wave Rider travels to Hamilton

Today we send Wave Rider to Hamilton to run in the ‘Hamilton Park Scottish Trophy Handicap’ for owners Dean, de Zoete, Inglett & Partners. The 3 year old gelding by Belardo has won 1 of his 6 starts as well as placing 3 times. He put in a very impressive performance on the 14th June to win the Darley British EBF Maiden Stakes (GBB Race)(Class 2) by 3 lengths cosily. He then went to Yarmouth just over a week later and although finishing 3rd he still ran a good race as the ground was to soft for him which he didn’t enjoy. Today’s race has a field of 7 runners and he has been drawn 2. Trevor Whelan takes the ride and hopefully we will see another strong run from him.
