Today we send out two runners between Doncaster and Epsom

Our first runner of the day is Primeval who makes her racecourse debut at Doncaster in the ‘PPM Novice Stakes (GBB Race) (Div II)’ for owners Juddmonte. She is a three year old filly by Lope De Vega and a half sister to 5 winners. Her half siblings include Time Test a dual Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed horse who now stands at The National Stud as a breeding stallion. She is also a half sister to Tempus who is a dual Group 3 winner as well as being Group 2 placed. The race today has a field of 11 runners and she has been drawn 6. Rossa Ryan takes the ride.

Magical Merlin heads to Epsom for owners Paul Inglett & Beckhampton Racing. He runs in the ‘Betfred Play Fred’s 5 Million Handicap (Jockey Club Grassroots Sprint Series Qualifier)’ over 6 furlongs. The 3 year old gelding by Kodiac is a winner of 2 races so far with both being over 6 furlongs. He has a mark of 79 putting him 2lb higher than his last winning mark.
