Two runners head to Sandown and Leicester

 In Beckhampton News

Grand Karat is our first runner of the day and heads to Sandown to run in the ‘Win Up To £2M With Golden Goals Handicap’ for owner Mohammed Jaber. He is a three year old Gleneagles colt who has had four career starts so far. He had three starts as a two year old and one as a three year old. His form from 2 years reads well when finishing half a length behind a Group 3 winner, who is also Group 2 placed. He was a little disappointing on his three year old debut at Newmarket on the 16th April but he should have come on for the run and hopefully put it behind him. Today he is stepped back to 7 furlongs in a field of 10 runners. He has been drawn 6 with Daniel Tudhope taking the ride.

Feeling High heads to Leicester to make his racecourse debut in the ‘Lawman Commercials 30th Anniversary EBF Restricted Maiden Stakes (Qual’) (GBB/IRE Incentive)(Div I)’ for owners Paul Inglett & Partner. He is a 2 year old colt by Time Test and out of an unraced Dansili mare. He is a half brother to Roaring Gallagher who won his two year old debut over a mile. Today Feeling High makes his debut in a field of 10 runners with a draw of 3. Daniel Muscutt takes the ride.
