Two runners head to Newmarket

Today we send two runners to Newmarket.

Zouzanna is the first of the runners and runs in the ‘Every Race Live On Racing TV Fillies’ Handicap’ for owners Brooke – Rankin, Frost, Hues & Inglett. She is a three year old filly by Zoustar and she has had 7 career starts so far winning 2 of them and placing in 3 of them. She put in a very strong performance on her most recent start at Newmarket over 7 furlongs when stepped back up in to Class 3 company. She placed 3rd with only a neck between the winner and herself. Today she is stepped back up to a mile in a field of 8 runners. She has been drawn 1 with Rossa Ryan taking the ride. Today will be her first start on soft ground but hopefully she should handle it and we see her run another strong race.

Different Drum is our second runner of the day and runs in the ‘British Stallion Studs EBF Future Stayers Novice Stakes (Sire And Dam-Restricted Race)’ for owner Pjilip Newton. He is a two year old gelding by Sea The Moon and out of a Group 2 and Group 3 winning mare. She won 5 races in total from 7 furlongs to 1 mile 6 furlongs. Different Drum is a half brother to 2 winners with one being Evangelist who was also Listed placed in Australia. Today Different Drum makes his racecourse debut in a field of 12 runners. He has been drawn 11 with Rossa Ryan taking the ride. We look forward to learning more about him today.
