Time Lock heads to Ascot in search of Group 1 success
Today we send Time Lock to Ascot to run in the ‘Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes (Group 1)’ for owners Juddmonte. She is a four year old filly by Frankel who has won three of her career starts so far with two of them being her most recent starts. On her run before last she won the Listed ‘Prix Dirickx – Grand Prix de Craon’ in France and then followed it up by winning the Group 3 ‘Princess Royal Al Basti Equiworld, Dubai Stakes’ at Newmarket. She has also placed at Group 2 level. Today she goes into her race looking well and hopefully today she can look to become a Group 1 winner. The ground is curently being called Good to Soft which is a going she has won on previously but she has also won on Good to Firm. The race today is a very strong race which is to be expected and has a field of 14 runners. She has been drawn 1 with William Buick taking the ride.
