Three runners travel to Kempton

Caraxes is our first runner of the day and runs in the ‘British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes (GBB Race)’ for owner D J Deer. He has had one career start so far which was at Kempton over a mile in which he finished 7th of 13 having been quite green. He would have learnt alot from his first run and hopefully show some improvement today. He heads back to Kempton over a mile again in a field of 14 runners, he has been drawn 8 with Trevor Whelan taking the ride.

Merlin The Wizard makes his racecourse debut in the ‘Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes’ for owner Imad Alsagar.He is a 2 year old gelding by Camelot and the first foal out of a Group 3 and Listed Winning mare. Today he makes his debut in a field of 13 runners with a draw of 9. Sean Levey takes the ride.

Lillistar also makes her racecourse debut in the ‘Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes’ but for owner and breeder Tony Bloom. Her dam was a winner of 4 races and finished her racing career with a total earnings of £40,188. Lillistar is a half sister to Albion Princess a winner of two races so far for the yard which included her win last week at Kempton. She has been drawn 6 in the field of 13 runners and has Trevor Whelan on board.
