Three runners split between Southwell and Kempton

Today we send out three runners between Southwell and Kempton.

Our first runner of the day is Zain Nights who heads to Southwell to run in the ‘William Hill Keep Your Raceday Positive Racing League Race 40 Handicap (Racing League)’ for owner Asaad Al Banwan. He is a four year old gelding by Decorated Knight who and has had 15 career starts in total. This has included three wins and 6 placings. He was a winner on his most recent start at Goodwood over 2 miles (Comfortably by 2 lengths). The horse who finished 2nd has since placed 3rd in a class 2 handicap with only half a length between him and the winner. The race today has a field of 11 runners and he has been drawn 3. Cheekpieces have been applied again with Saffie Osborne taking the ride.

Stage Show is our second runner of the day and heads to Kempton to run in the ‘Unibet More Boosts In More Races Handicap’ for owner Brook Farm Bloodstock. He is a three year old gelding by showcasing and has had 8 career starts so far ranging from 6 furlongs to 1 mile 3 furlongs. He has placed on 3 of his starts over 1 mile, 1 mile 2 furlongs and 1 mile 3 furlongs. Today he steps up in trip to 1 mile 4 furlongs for the first time. The race today has a field of 11 runners and he has been drawn 9. Cheekpieces have been applied and Richard Kingscote takes the ride.

Valsad is our last runner of the day and heads to Southwell to run in the ‘William Hill Epic Value Racing League Race 42 Handicap (Racing League)’ for owner S Stuckey. He is a four year old gelding by Intello and has had 8 career starts so far winning 1 and placing 4 times. He had a break of 105 days and came out on the 19th August in a class 4 handicap at Newbury finishing 2nd beaten a neck. Today he has been stepped up into class 2 company in a field of 12 runners. He has been drawn 5 with Saffie Osborne taking the ride. Hopefully today he can look to go one better.
