Thanos gets off the mark at Lingfield

Yesterday we sent Thanos to Lingfield to line up in the ‘Follow @attheraces On Instagram Handicap’ for owners Paul Inglett and Paul Dean. Having placed 2nd on all 3 of his previous starts over 7 furlongs he had been knocking on the door to shift the maiden tag in which yesterday became the day. Having travelled in touch with the leaders and making headway around 2 furlongs out he soon took up the lead around the furlong marker and carried on clear to win the race by 6 lengths. It was great to see him finally get his head in front and do it so well.
