Our first two year old runner of the season

Today we send out three runners between Newbury and Nottingham.

Tiete is our first runner of the day as well as our first two year old runner of the season. She heads to Newbury to run in the Get 100/1 On England At BetVictor EBF Novice Stakes’ for owners W G & A G Vestey, E Gerber & Paul Inglett. She was purchased at the Tattersalls Book 2 sale for 80,000 Gns, she is by Kodiac and out of a Listed and Group 3 placed Acclamation mare who also won as a two year old. Today Tiete makes her racecourse debut in a field of 11 runners with a draw of 6. Trevor Whelan takes the ride and we look forward to learning more about her.

Acotango travels to Nottingham to run in the ‘Follow Us On X @betrhino Handicap’ for owners Dean, Gerber, Inglett & Partner. Having won as a two year old and then placed multiple times as a three year old he has been a little disappointing on his last couple of starts, with his most recent one being his 4 year old debut. Today he is stepped back up to just over a mile in a field of 7 runners. He has been drawn 1 with Finley Marsh taking the ride.

Zouzanna is our final runner of the day and runs in the ‘Racehorse Shares From £25 At racingclub.com Handicap’ at Newbury for owners Brooke – Rankin, Frost, Hues & Inglett. She is a 4 year old filly by Zoustar who has had 9 career starts so far. This includes 2 wins and 3 placings. She made her 4 year old debut on the 11th May over a mile. although finishing 9th out of 10 she was a little gassy at the startof the race which wouldnt have helped her finish, it also didnt help that she was squeezed out of a gap over a furlong from home. Hopefully today we will see another of her strong performances and she should have also come on from her previous run. Today she has been dropped back to 7 furlongs in a field of 11 runners. She has been drawn 4 with Oisin Murphy taking the ride.
