The dam Baltic Best was a winner at three years old in Germany and was placed on four additional occasions. To date, she has produced two winners from four runners. She is a half-sister to seven winners from seven runners, six of whom achieved black-type success. The most accomplished among her siblings was Baltic Baroness, a Group 1 winner in France, who also captured two Listed races and a Group 3 contest. She is a half-sister to Listed winner Garden Paradise. Her dam, Coral Garden, is a full sister to Coastal Path, winner of six races in France earning £230,042 and crowned Champion 3-Year-Old Stayer in Europe in 2007. In addition to his two Group 2 and two Group 3 victories, he finished third in the Group 1 Gold Cup at Ascot. Her half-brother Reefscape was also a top-class stayer in France and a Group 1 winner, and he finished third in the Group 1 Coronation Cup at Epsom. His dam, Random Success, was a winner of three races during her time in training at Beckhampton and was placed on seven occasions. She is a half-sister to Anticipated, a dual winner who was also placed in Listed and Group 3 company. Completely Random is a half-brother to Roarin’ Success, who won over seven furlongs at two, over a mile at three, and over one mile and one furlong at four. She too was trained at Beckhampton. The family traces back to Rocamadour, a dual Listed winner who was placed twice at Group 1 level. Following his racing career, he stood successfully at stud.

He was purchased for 125,000 guineas at the Tattersalls Book 2 Sale. He is out of a Storm Cat mare who placed twice as a two-year-old in the USA. She is a full sister to Sophisticat, a three-time winner from 12 starts, with seven placings. Sophisticat captured the Group 1 Coronation Stakes  at Royal Ascot in 2002, defeating Zenda — later the dam of Kingman — and finished second in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket in 2001. The granddam, Serena’s Song, was an exceptional racemare, winning 10 races, including nine Grade 1 contests in the United States.

Tryfan is out of a six-time winning mare who achieved success both in the UK and the USA and has produced five winners from five foals of racing age. The family traces back to African Dream, a dual Group 3 winner.

His dam Ajwibah was unraced. She is a half sister to Mutashaded a winner of 2 races over a mile and 1 mile 2f. He also placed 2nd in the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes. The grand dam Sortita is a full sister to Samum who was a top Class two and three year old in Germany. He was a dual Group 1 winner over 1 mile 4f and a Group 2 winner over 1 m 2f. He then became a breeding stallion and sired Group 1 winners. Sortita is also a full sister to Schiaparelli a multiple Group 1 winner in Italy and Germany as well as being a Group 2 winner in the UK and France. When retired from racing he went on to be a successful jumps stallion.
