Karakoy breaks his maiden on third attempt

On Monday we sent Karakoy to Chepstow to run in the ‘Vickers Bet Supports Racing Welfare Restricted Novice Stakes’ for owners Paul Inglett & Partner. He went into the race with two very promising runs behind him over a mile and 1 mile 2 furlongs but was yet to make an apperance on turf. He jumped well and made all until pushed along just over a furlong from home. Despite drifting over to the rail he stayed on well to win comfortably under jockey Trevor Whelan.
