Iqbaal to make her racecourse debut

Today we send Iqbaal to Kempton to make her racecourse debut in the ‘Unibet More Extra Place Races Restricted Maiden Fillies’ Stakes’ for owner Imad Alsagar. She is a three year old filly by Make Believe and out of a Le Havre mare, who is half sister to 2 winners from 3 runners. The fourth dam in the pedigree, Brocade, won 5 races at 3 & 4 years at home and in France including the Group 1 Prix de la Foret and Group 3 Challenge Stakes. She went on to produce Barathea, the Group 1 Irish 2000 Guineas winner who also won the Group 1 Breeders Cup Mile. Today Iqbaal makes her debut in a field of 14 runners with a draw of 8 and Robert Havlin taking the ride.
