Hypnotised loses his maiden title and Berezka heads to Leicester

 In Beckhampton News

Hypnotised travelled to Southwell yesterday to make his 3rd career start. The 2 year old colt by No Nay Never had put in 2 encouraging performances prior to yesterday having finished 4th on both starts and showing progression between each. Yesterday he dropped back to 5 furlongs having ran over 6 furlongs prior and with a strong pace set in yesterday’s race he settled nicely in behind the leaders. He was asked the question around a furlong from home and was pushed along whilst keeping on nicely to win the race by 2 lengths under jockey Colin Keane.

Today we have just the one runner which is Berezka heading to Leicester for the ‘British EBF Maiden Fillies stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. She has had 2 career starts so far in which she has put in 2 promising efforts so far over 1 mile 2 furlongs, finishing 4th on both occasions. The race today has a field of 11 runners and she has been drawn 5. Billy Loughnane takes the ride.
