Lope Y Fernandez is a very good looking son of Lope De Vega and has his first crop of two year olds in 2025. At 2 he was placed in the Listed Chesham stakes and won the Group 3 ‘Round Tower Stakes’. He was placed four times at Group 1 level as a three year old and second the following year to Palace Pier in the ‘Queen Anne’ Group 1.

It’s a fast family with his dam running over 6 furlongs and producing a 95 rated 6 furlong horse this year in Drama. Under the second dam there are two exceptional sprinters, in Monsieur Chevalier who was a 117 rated horse and Outback Traveller who was a 112.

This horse was one of the physical standouts of the December Yearling Sales. He is exceptionally powerful and looks the type to run from July onwards.
