Gambit returns from Qatar and Papa Oscar makes his debut

Yesterday we saw the arrival of King’s Gambit back at the yard from his trip to Qatar. He ran a very creditable race in the Amir Trophy finishing 4th behind the already multiple Group 1 winner Rebel’s Romance.

Today we send Papa Oscar to Kempton to make his racecourse debut in the ‘Unibet Zero% Mission Restricted Maiden Stakes’ (Div I) for owners Juddmonte. The three year old gelding by Expert Eye is a half brother to 7 winners with one of those being Group 1 winner Juliet Foxtrot.

Today Papa Oscar makes his debut in a field of 8 runners with 4 of his rivals also making their racecourse debut. He has been drawn 6 with Dougie Costello taking the ride.
