First winner of 2026

On Saturday Completely Random became our first winner of 2026.

A winner of 3 races and placed twice prior to Saturday Completely Random did have excuses on occasions in the second half of last season. He came into the 6 furlong Handicap at Lingfield on a good mark of 93 and for a second year in a row made his seasonal return a winning one on the all weather. He settled nicely at the rear of the field and was patiently ridden by Ryan Moore who delivered him out wide early in the straight to draw clear by just under 4 lengths. It was great to see him having done well for a winter break and back in the winners enclosure for owner Paul Inglett.
