Discretion gets her third win on the board and two runners head out today

On Thursday Discretion travelled up to Yarmouth to run in the ‘Quinnbet Best Odds Guaranteed Handicap’. She put in a promising performance on her 4 year old debut when finishing a close 6th at Ascot over a mile. She went to Yarmouth back over a mile and made all, she was ridden about a furlong from home and stayed on well to win by 1 and 1/4 lengths under jockey Kevin Stott. It was great to see her back in the winners enclosure.

Today we send out two runners between Beverley and Haydock.

From Beyond is our first runner of the day and heads to Beverley to run in the ‘bet365 Very British Raceday Restricted Maiden Stakes’ for owners Mrs T Brudenell & Mr P Inglett. She had two career starts as a 2 year old and showed promise on her 2nd start when placing 3rd at Leicester over 7 furlongs. The winner of that race has since placed in a Group 2 and the 2nd place has since placed 2nd in a very competitive Nursery Handicap at Epsom. Today From Beyond makes her 3 year old debut having had a winter break and wind surgery. Today she runs over 7 and 1/2 furlongs in a field of 8 runners with a draw of 5. A tongue strap has been applied and Oisin Murphy takes the ride.

Time Lock is our second runner today and runs at Haydock in the Group 3 ‘Sky Bet Lester Piggott Stakes (Registered As The Pinnacle Stakes)’ for owners Juddmonte. She has had 5 career starts so far in which she has won one of them and placed 2nd on 3 other occasions, with the last two being Listed races. This is her second start as a four year old and would like think she would have come on from her previous run. The race today has a field of 6 runners and she has been drawn 2.
