Cosmic Year puts in an impressive debut

Yesterday we sent Cosmic Year to Sandown to make his racecourse debut in the ‘Sir Michael Stoute – Farewell and Thank You Novice Stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. Going into the race he looked well and had a strong pedigree behind him so we hoped he could run a nice race. He jumped well and sat in behind the leader, 2 furlongs from home he was still going quite easy and made headway into 1st position around the furlong pole. He knuckled down and put in an incredibly pleasing performance winning the race by just over 6 lengths under Oisin Murphy.
