Baltic heads to Pontefract

Today we send Baltic to Pontefract to run in the ‘La-Z-Boy At K C Sofas Handicap’ for owners Beckhampton Stables Ltd. He is a three year old colt by Frankel and has had three career starts so far all over 1 mile 2 furlongs. Today he makes his handicap debut and is stepped up to 1 mile 4 furlongs for the first time. Cheekpieces have also been applied for the first time to try and help him along. The race today has a field of 10 runners and he has been drawn 4. Callum Rodriguez takes the ride. Hopefully today we will see a bit more promise from him.
