Arolla makes it an impressive 2 from 2

 In Beckhampton News

Yesterday we sent Arolla to Leicester to run in the ‘British EBF Novice Stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. Having won on her racecourse debut at Ffos Las at the start of July we were hoping to see another strong performance from her in which she did. She settled well under jockey Trevor Whelan and stayed in touch with the leaders. She started to make headway around 2 furlongs from home and went clear inside the final furlong to win the race by an impressive 8 lengths and looks to be an exciting filly.

Today we send Killing Eye to Kempton to make her racecourse debut in the ‘Unibet/British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes’ for owner Mohammed Jaber. She is a two-year-old filly by Gleneagles and a half sister to Grand Karat who is also in training with us here at Beckhampton. She is a full sister to Sinjaari who won the Coral Challenge Handicap and the John Smiths Cup Handicap. Today Killing Eye makes her debut in a field of 12 runners with a draw of 7. A Hood and blinkers have been applied as she can be a little hot headed at times and hopefully these will help her to relax.
