Amphius heads to Newbury

Today we send Amphius to Newbury to make his racecourse debut in the ‘Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships ‘Confined’ Maiden Stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. He is a three year old colt by Kingman, who not only is full brother to Greek Order he is also a full brother to Group 3 winner Sangarius. Today Amphius makes his debut in a field of 17 runners with a draw of 1. He is starting over a mile with William Buick taking the ride. We look forward to learning more about him today and hopefully we will see and encouraging performance from him.

It was great to see a great debut run from Vanish yesterday, finishing 2nd in a strong Newbury Novice. He should hopefully improve again now having had a run and gained a little more experience.
