A Super Saturday for the team!

 In Beckhampton News

On Saturday we sent out 4 runners and came home with a treble. Completely Random was the first of our runners and took home 1st prize in the Carling King III Cup Handicap at Leicester. He settled nicely into the race and started to make headway 2 furlongs from home. He was soon ridden to take the lead and won comfortably by over a length under jockey Trevor Whelan.

Skimmer made his racecourse debut at Leicester in the 1m2f Maiden Stakes. Being a half brother to Logician and Okeechobee he has a beautiful pedigree behind him. He jumped well from the stalls and raced very professionally, he took up the lead in the final furlong and won nicely under Oisin Murphy.

Previse made her 2nd racecourse appearance and travelled to Haydock for the fillies Novice Stakes. She raced prominent and was green when taking up the lead a furlong out. She kept on well and won the race at 80/1 under jockey Finley Marsh.

It was a great day for all the team.
