Day 2 of the Royal meeting

Arolla, owned by Juddmonte, is set to compete in the Kensington Palace Stakes , with form of  2 wins from 5 starts and a commendable second-place finish in a recent Listed race over 7 furlongs. Returning to a mile, we hope she can continnue her recent progress and put in another strong performance. She has been drawn in stall 9 and jockey Colin Keane aboard.

Yesterday we sent King’s Gambit for the Wolferton Stakes and after a couple of disappointing runs it was great to see him run a really good race. Having settled at the rear of the field he made his move around 2 furlongs from home and stayed on strong to pick up 3rd. He is back home and enjoying a morning out in his paddock in the sunshine.
