Cosmic Year makes his 3 year old debut

Today we send out three runners to Kempton.

Our first runner of the day is Polygram owned by Juddmonte. She is a 3 year old filly by Dark Angel and out of a half sister to Expert Eye. She joined us at Beckhampton towards the end of last year from Sir Michael Stoute’s yard having had just the 1 start in a competitive Fillies Novice. Today she makes her 3 year old debut as well as yard debut in a field of 10 runners with a draw of 4, 6/10 of the runners have all won and 5 of those have been on debut. Callum Rodriguez takes the ride and we look forward to learning more about her today.

Our 2nd horse to run is the Juddmonte owned Cosmic Year, now a 3 year old the half brother to Time Test is back for his 2025 season debut after a winter break. After a very fine 2 year old debut he goes into his race today looking well and hoping to see another strong run from him. He takes on a field of 13 runners with a draw of 1 and Oisin Murphy back on board.

Grand Karat is the last to go of our 3 runners and runs in the ‘Try Unibet’s New Improved Acca Boosts Handicap’ for owner Mohammed Jaber. His form so far includes 8 runs with 2 wins and 3 placings. Having been gelded in June last year he went on to win 2 races and place 3rd all at Southwell. Having finished his 2024 season off so well we look forward to seeing him back out again for 2025. The race today has a field of 7 runners and he has been drawn 4. Trevor Whelan takes the ride.
