Time Lock heads to Epsom for the Coronation Cup
Today we send out three runners between Epsom and Doncaster.
Time Lock is our first runner of the day and heads to Epsom to run in the ‘Holland Cooper Coronation Cup’ for owners Juddmonte. A Group 3 and Listed winner at 4 Time Lock made her 5 year old debut at the start of may in the Group 2 ‘Jockey Club Stakes’ at Newmarket. She put in a very strong performance to finish 2nd behind the 50/1 shot Outbox. Today she heads back into Group 1 company in an expected strong field of 5 runners. She has been drawn 1 with William Buick taking the ride. Cheekpieces have also been applied for the first time.
Amphius heads to Doncaster to run in the ‘MJ&B Plastering Supports BB With Love Novice Stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. He is a 3 year old colt by Kingman and a full brother to Greek Order. Amphius made his racecourse debut on the 20th April this year and put in a very encouraging debut run finishing 4th in what has turned out to have been a competetive race. The winner of the race has since won the Group 2 ‘Dante Stakes’ at York. Today Amphius continues over a mile in a field of 12 runners. He has been drawn 5 with Daniel Muscutt taking the ride.
Roarin’ Success is our last runner of the day and also heads to Doncaster. She runs in the ‘Ant Marketing Proudly Supports Weston Park Handicap’ for owner and breeder Paul Inglett. She made her 4 year old debut at Ascot 30 days ago and put in a very solid run to finish 2nd beaten half a length. The race today has a field of 11 runners and she has been drawn 2. Callum Rodriguez takes the ride.
