Two runners head to Sandown in search of Black type

Today we send out three runners.

Shamran is our first runner of the day and heads to Chelmsford to run in the ‘Watch Live Racing At bet365 Novice Stakes’ for owner Imad Alsagar. He is a three year old colt by Kingman and out of a Galileo mare. Today he makes his racecourse debut over a mile in a field of 16 runners. He is a lovely strong looking colt that we look forward to learning more about today. He has been drawn 2 with Kieran Shoemark taking the ride.

Elegancia is our second runner of the day and heads to Sandown for owners St Albans Bloodstock Limited. She is a four year old filly by Lope De Vega who has had 8 career starts. She has won 2 of her starts and placed on 1 other occasion. Today she heads to the Group 3 ‘Brigadier Gerard Stakes’ which has a small field of 5 runners and has been given a draw of 1. She continues to wear the hood to help her to relax and William Buick takes the ride.

Our final runner of the day is Kikkuli who also heads to Sandown. He runs in the ‘Chasemore Farm Stud Staff Heron Stakes’ for owners Juddmonte. The three year old colt by Kingman and half brother to Frankel has had 2 career starts so far, he placed 2nd on his debut as a two year old finishing behind Zoum Zoum, who has since gone on to finish 2nd in the Group 3 ‘Greenham Stakes’. Kikkuli won on his second start as a three year old in a Newmarket maiden. Not only does he make a step up in trip today to a mile he also makes a step up into Listed company. The race today has a field of 7 runners and he has been drawn 3. Ryan Moore takes the ride.
