Zaman Jemil is back in the winners enclosure and two runners head out today

Yesterday we sent Zaman Jemil to Thirsk to run in the ‘Download The Vickers.Bet App Handicap’ for owners Three Of A Kind. He was a winner over 6 furlongs as a two year old and made his 3 year old debut over 6 furlongs just over two weeks ago. Yesterday he had his 2nd start as a three year old over 6 furlongs, he was in touch with the leaders towards the near side and was pushed along 2 furlongs from home, he was making headway against the near rail a furlong out and took the lead in the final 100 yards to win the race by 1 and 1/2 lengths going nicely under jockey Richard Kingscote.

Today we send one runner to Kempton and one runner to Newbury.

Ashky is our first runner of the day and runs in the ‘Unibet Support Safe Gambling Handicap’ for owner Mohammed Jaber. She is a four year old filly who was the winner of three races as a three year old, unfortunately she hasn’t seemed to have carried her consistent form on as a four year old but today she has cheekpieces applied for the first time and hopefully we will see her sparkle back. The race today has a field of 13 runners and she has been drawn 5. Trevor Whelan takes the ride.

Finest Leader heads to Newbury to run in the ‘TPT Fire Handicap’ for owners P Inglett, A Bengough & Lady Tidbury. On his most recent start he was stepped up in trip to 1 mile 2 furlongs for the first time as well as having cheekpieces applied for the first time. It definitely paid off as he managed to break his maiden title in a field of 8 runners. Today he continues to run over 1 mile 2 and in a field of 7 runners. He has been drawn 1 with cheekpieces applied again. Oisin Murphy takes the ride.
