Three runners head out between Leicester and Weatherby

Lillistar is our first runner of the day and runs in the ‘Friction Marketing Handicap’ at Leicester for owner Tony Bloom. She is a three year old filly by Zoustar who has had four career starts so far. She made her handicap debut over 1 mile 1 and a half furlongs on her most recent outing and unfortunatly pulled up due to an irregular heartbeat. Since then she has been thoroughly checked over by the vet and all well at home. Hopefully today she will have some better luck in the field of 6 runners. She has been drawn 2 with James Doyle taking the ride. A hood has been applied to help keep her relaxed.

It’s All About You heads to Leicester also and runs in the ‘Racecourse Live Streams On Racing TV Extra Handicap’ for owners Paul & Clare Rooney. He is a three year old colt by Highland Reel who won on his 3rd career start as a two year old. He made his three year old debut on the 28th April over 1 mile 2 furlongs at Doncaster finishing 3rd. Today he steps up in trip to 1 mile 4 furlongs for the first time in a field of 8 runners. He has been drawn 7 with James Doyle taking the ride.

Finest Leader is our final runner of the day and runs in the ‘Watch Racing TV In Stunning HD Handicap’ at Weatherby for owners P Inglett, A Bengough & Lady Tidbury. The three year old gelding by Churchill had 3 career starts as a two year old in which he showed promise. He has had 2 career starts so far as a three year old in which he has been a bit disappointing. Today he steps up in trip to 1 mile 2 furlongs for the first time. Hopefully the step up in trip and good to firm ground will see him put in a promising performance. The race today has a field of 8 runners and he has been drawn 4. Clifford Lee takes the ride.
