5 runners head to Kempton

Slight Of Foot is our first runner of the day and runs in the Unibet Zero% Mission/British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes. He has had just the 1 start in his career so far which was in a competitive Newbury Novice. Having finished 10th out of 10 runners it was a little disappointing in how he ran but it was a strong race and he may have just needed the run. Hopefully he learnt a lot from it. Today he continues over 7 furlongs in a field of 14 runners, he has been drawn 2 with Sean Levey taking the ride. Hopefully today we will see some improvement.

Opening Bat runs in the Unibet Handicap for owners Mrs R J McCreery and Richard Craddock. Having had 8 career starts behind him, which has included a win and 3 placings he has earnt a mark of 68. Since his win mid may this year he has ran 3 times and placed 3rd on each occasion and twice been unlucky with half a length between the winner and himself. Today he is back up to a mile in a field of 10 runners, he has been drawn 1, cheekpieces applied and Oisin Murphy taking the ride.

Bintola runs in the Unibet More Extra Place Races Fillies’ Novice Stakes for owner Salhia Stud. She made her racecourse debut 3 weeks ago at Newbury in a Fillies’ Maiden Stakes. Although finishing 6th she ran a nice race and should improve from the run. She continues today over 6 furlongs with a hood and today’s field has a total of 10 runners. She has been drawn 10 with Oisin Murphy riding.

Warrior King competes in the ‘Unibet 40,000+ Live Streamed Events Handicap for owners O.T.I Racing, Paul Inglett & Partner. The 3 year old son of Saxon Warrior made his handicap debut on his most recent start over 1m4f on the turf and was disappointing. Today he steps up to 2 miles for the first time and is back on the all weather surface. Hopefully today we will see a more encouraging performance. His race has a field of 9 runners and he has been drawn 9. Sean Levey takes the ride.

Catherine’s Gift is our final runner of the day and runs in the ‘Try Unibet’s New Acca Boosts Handicap’ for owner Mohammed Jaber. The daughter of Nathaniel has had 4 career starts so far in which she showed some promise over 1 mile 2 furlongs when finishing 3rd out of 9 in a Chelmsford Novice. She was a little disappointing on her most recent start when making her handicap debut over 1 mile 4f. Today she drops back to 1m3f for the first time in a field of 13 runners. She has been drawn 13 with Oisin Murphy taking the ride.
